To Enter and to SeeBy: Joseph H. MurrayOne has to enter the kingdom of God to be able to see what it is composed of—which is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. When one is made right by being forgiven of sin, it brings a peace to the soul and causes an unspeakable joy to spring from one’s innermost being. Then our eyes of understanding are opened to the truths that Jesus taught that the first disciples could not grasp while they walked with Him in person, because He had encased in Himself the Spirit of understanding that they had to receive and was not given until the day of Pentecost when the Holy Ghost was given. Mr. Webster gives us this definition of the word see: “To perceive by eye; to behold; to observe; to form an idea; to understand; to have interview with; to meet with; to visit; to have power of sight; to pay regard; to consider; to give heed; to understand; to apprehend.” |
